Tyler Perrault, Registered Denturist, BPS® Master
Tyler is a graduate of the Denturist Technology Program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). He completed his residency in Saskatchewan, then relocated to Abbotsford, BC to begin private practice. In 2000, Tyler purchased Vernon Denture Clinic, taking over for Frank Knobel upon his retirement.
Tyler strives to provide patients with aesthetically natural, optimally fitting and functioning dentures. He also aims to consistently surpass patient expectations. To support these goals, he is committed to ongoing professional development related to implant-supported dentures, precision dentures, and patient-focused treatments.
From 2008 to 2014, Tyler served as the Chair of the College of Denturists of BC (CDBC). The CDBC is the regulatory body for BC Denturists that ensures quality practice and protection of the public.
Tyler is an accomplished squash player, disc golfer, snowboarder, skier, and mountain biker. He particularly enjoys sharing his love of sport and the great outdoors with his wife Regan and their two young children. As an enthusiastic supporter of youth participation in sport, Tyler has also been a board member with Silver Star Freestyle Club since 2019.
Cathy, Dental Receptionist
Cathy joined Vernon Denture Clinic’s Dental Reception team in 2021. She has over 30 years of customer service experience, including 14 years as an appointment coordinator and service advisor at Kelowna Mercedes-Benz.
Keeping busy keeps Cathy happy so the fast pace of each workday at VDC is right up her alley. She especially enjoys anything to do with helping patients, answering questions, and coordinating treatment details. She looks forward to the day when we don’t have to wear masks so that she can see patients’ beautiful new smiles!
Cathy and her husband moved to Kelowna in 2006 and have lived in Lake Country for the past six years. They have two cats, Burt and Sally, that Cathy loves to drive crazy as their antics make her laugh.
Outside of work, Cathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting her rural property in Carmi, and getting outdoors to camp, fish, walk, cycle, ride her side x side, or just sit around the bonfire.
Fun fact: she was born on Halloween!
Jenny, Dental Receptionist & Lab Assistant
Jenny joined the VDC team in 2020 as a dental receptionist. In 2023, she began in-house training as a lab assistant. Currently, Jenny enjoys the challenges of both roles, supporting both lab and admin teams.
Jenny brings with her nearly a decade of administrative experience gained at the investment firm Odlum Brown and at Tolko Industries.
Helping and connecting with patients each day is her favourite part of her job. She looks forward to a time when masks for patients is no longer a requirement so that she can see their happy smiles when they receive their dentures. She finds the fast pace of her job an enjoyable challenge and likes working with the rest of the VDC team.
Born and raised in Kelowna, Jenny currently lives in Lumby with her fiancé, daughter, and animal friends (cats, chickens, and dogs). She loves snowboarding, camping, and the outdoors in general.
Eric, Dental Technician
Eric joined the Vernon Denture Clinic team in 2014. He brought with him experience as a machinist, sporting goods technician, sales manager, and business owner – and a desire to learn the art and science of Dental Technology. Working closely with our denturists, Eric learned quickly and his steady hands keep our on-site lab humming.
Eric’s hardworking nature, attention to detail, focus on quality, and passion for finding new solutions and efficiencies are key aspects of what makes him an all-around amazing technician and team player.
Prior to joining VDC, Eric held management, sales, and technician positions with several Okanagan-based marine, cycle, and ski centres and earned recognition for excellence in sales, service, and customer satisfaction. Eric is also an experienced carpenter and electrician.
A long-time resident of Vernon and avid outdoorsman, Eric and his family can often be found skiing in the winter, and hiking, kayaking, swimming, and camping in the summer.
Fun fact: Eric’s wife, Linda, is a (now retired) Dental Technician and worked alongside Vernon Denture Clinic founder Frank Knobel for many years until his retirement in 2000.
Regan, Operations Manager
Regan is the wife of denturist Tyler Perrault and our operations manager. She is not often seen by patients but works hard behind the scenes to support staff and patients as well as overall clinic operations.
Regan first joined Vernon Denture Clinic in 2000, when she and Tyler were newly engaged and had just purchased the clinic. Her first role with the clinic was office receptionist; these days, she focuses on general clinic administration, staffing, and finances. She loves that her work at VDC is fast paced and always changing day to day.
In her spare time, Regan enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking, reading, being a mom to two busy teenagers, and singing (loudly) in the car. She enjoys volunteering and has held positions with Vernon Women’s Transition House, Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, BX Elementary School PAC, and Silver Star Freestyle Club. As a certified scoreperson with Freestyle BC and Freestyle Canada, Regan was awarded Official of the Year in 2024 by Freestyle BC for her dedication and commitment to precision, integrity, and fairness in scoring freestyle ski competitions.
Fun fact: Regan has a very large collection of Christmas-themed earrings. Throughout December, she can often been seen sporting her seasonal bling at the office and making silly social media posts about the 12 Days of Christmas Earrings. The gifting of holiday earrings was a tradition started by her father when she was a small girl and it’s Regan’s favourite family tradition ever.
